Hoy día 23 de abril se celebra el día del libro en sus inicios llamado “día del libro español”, curioso… más sabiendo que los amigos del independentismo más radical se han apropiado como suyo en exclusiva su DIADA DE SANT JORDI, y que una vez más aprovechan para sus influencias políticas.
Allá por 1923 Vicente Clavel Andrés, escritor, traductor, periodista y editor valenciano afincado en Barcelona, propone la creación de un día del libro, con el objetivo de promover la cultura y la lectura.
Aunque no fue hasta el día 6 de febrero de 1926 cuando el rey, Alfonso XIII, firmaba por Real Decreto la “Fiesta del Libro Español”, pero pasaron algunos años hasta 1930 cuando se instaura definitivamente el día 23 de abril como Día del Libro.
Y así hemos llegado a nuestros días en el que este día pasa más por un día más de reivindicaciones políticas que de cultura y lectura.
